Meet Chris and Jake — your Florida friends who’ve built this getaway around everything we love most: sunshine, salt air, and tropical vibes by the water.
Chris was born and raised right here in the Sunshine State, and the beach has always been his happy place. Whether it’s fishing at sunrise, cruising on the boat, or paddleboarding through calm back bay, there’s no better way to spend the day. When he's not out on the water, you can usually find him tinkering with new projects to make sure every guest feels the warmth and relaxation that makes coastal living so special.
Jake is the heart behind the details — the one who makes sure every pillow is fluffed, every corner feels cozy, and every guest instantly feels at home. He’s the reason our space feels less like a rental and more like a true retreat. Jake loves gardening and has transformed the property into a lush, tropical escape filled with vibrant palms, colorful flowers, and relaxing spaces to unwind. His eye for design and love for nature make the entire property feel like an oasis — a place where you can sip your morning coffee surrounded by greenery and truly feel like you’re on vacation.
Then there’s Layla, our black lab–border collie mix and official “beach ambassador.” She runs the house, loves greeting new friends, and never turns down a splash in the surf. You might see her around— She's the playful spirit that wants to make you feel at home.
Location is everything, and our home sits in the only neighborhood downtown Fort Myers Beach. Staying here means you’re just steps from the beach, local restaurants, live music, and waterfront bars, so you can park once and explore it all on foot. Grab coffee in the morning, catch a sunset at Times Square, or take an easy stroll back from a night out, being downtown puts you at the center of it all.
Together, with our beach spirit and genuine hospitality we work hard into creating a space where you can unwind, recharge, and make lasting memories. Whether you’re here for adventure or just some peace and quiet by the gulf, we’re thrilled to share our home with you.
